Teddy's House

Hi Tom-keteers, it's been a while since we've talked, and I thought it was high time that ended.

So Mer and I took a little trip to Teddy Roosevelt's birthplace this weekend, and I knew you wanted to see the pictures, so here they are:

Come and knock on my door...

If you're a fan of this blog (and who isn't?), you know I love historical tours and I love placards, so you can imagine that this trip was nothing short of amazing for me. The best part, however, was our tour guide. Imagine a typical New Yorker, what he looks like, what he sounds like. And then imagine him giving you a tour and speaking of Civil War era china patterns. It blew me away. I would go back and pay the $3 (worth every penny!) again just to go on his tour.

I'm SUCH a dumbass. Almost everytime I read you're somewhere in NYC, I think "oh he drove down from Boston." I can't absorb the fact that you don't live there anymore. And it's been a while now. Like...a while. Claire = dumbass. Alert.
